Wilton is one of the oldest and most respected carpet weaving traditions in the world — and at Nobel Carpets, it remains one of our most versatile and widely supplied product lines. Produced on jacquard looms at our factory in Bandung, Indonesia, our Wilton carpets and rugs combine structural integrity, consistent pattern definition, and long-term durability in a polypropylene construction that performs reliably across a broad range of commercial applications.

The Wilton Weaving Process

Wilton carpets are produced on computer-controlled jacquard looms that weave yarn directly into a unified pile and backing structure in a single continuous process. Unlike tufted carpets — where yarn is punched into a separate backing — Wilton construction integrates the pile and backing together, producing a carpet of superior dimensional stability, pattern clarity, and structural strength.

The result is a carpet that holds its shape, retains its colour, and maintains its appearance under sustained heavy use — making it the preferred construction for high-traffic commercial environments and large-volume supply programmes where consistent quality across production runs is essential.

At Nobel Carpets, all polypropylene yarn used in our Wilton production is manufactured in-house at our sister company Albany Spinning Mills in Bandung — giving us direct control over colour consistency, yarn quality, and supply continuity.

Wilton woven polypropylene is a proven specification for hotel corridors, guest rooms, function rooms, ballrooms, and commercial interiors where durability, pattern consistency, and value need to be balanced. Our 4m loom width minimises seaming in standard room and corridor widths, and our in-house colour production ensures consistent matching across large installations and repeat orders.

Sajadah

Wilton woven polypropylene is the most widely specified construction for mosque and prayer hall carpets worldwide, and our most popular sajadah product. The construction delivers the pattern definition, durability, and ease of maintenance that high-traffic worship environments demand — in wall-to-wall broadloom, pre-marked prayer row rolls, and individual mat formats.
